ADT Home Security Installation

ADT home security panel - easy to instal
Your ADT security installation doesn’t take very long. The components communicate to each other through radio frequencies. This is a plus when mounting the sensors around the perimeter. They are less obvious this way & giving you a broader range of coverage. After ADT installation there are five basic ways the equipment operates. These basic operations are Zones, Burglary Protection, Fire Protection, Alarms, & Security Codes. Each sensing device is assigned a specific zone. Say you mark your front door as zone 1 & when the motion detector senses that the door has been a jarred it will trigger the sensor & it will display the zone area on your control panel.

Your ADT alarm is programmed with two types of protection modes. One ADT alarm mode is the Stay mode which protects only the perimeter & allows you to move around the house without disturbing the sensors. The second mode is the Away mode, which protects the perimeter & everything inside it. Both modes have an entry delay time so you can get in the house to disarm it before trigger the sensor. You can also bypass certain zones before arming system.

If you choose the fire protection option this will always be active. An alarm will sound if smoke or a fire is detected.
When something triggers your ADT alarm sensor an alarm will go off for 15 seconds followed by a display on your keypad that shows the zone that has the activity. Once the zones have been displayed the alarms will sound again. This will repeat until you enter the disarm code.

A master security code is assigned during the ADT installation of your home security system. It will be a 4 digit security number. You then can issue secondary security codes too six other users.
